How to report copyright infringement on NLS

Effective date: October 6, 2026

1. Content on NLS

Next Layer Sports is operated by Next Layer AI LLC. NLS hosts a limited amount of content provided by its users and Organizations: Organization logos and profile pictures, Program and Training descriptions shown on public Organization pages, and Team Chat messages. We respect the intellectual property of others and expect people who use NLS to do the same.

2. Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe content on NLS infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, send a written notice that includes:

  • your physical or electronic signature, as the owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
  • identification of the material you believe is infringing, with enough information for us to locate it (for example, the page address);
  • your name, address, telephone number and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

3. Where to send notices

Our designated agent for copyright notices is Next Layer AI LLC. Send notices through our contact page with the subject "Copyright notice".

4. What happens next

When we receive a complete notice, we may remove or disable access to the reported material and will make reasonable efforts to tell the person who provided it.

5. Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same place, including:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
  • your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which Next Layer AI LLC may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

6. Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we disable or terminate the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.

7. Misrepresentations

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may make you liable for damages.
